By Steve Pike Adams Golf (NasdaqCM:ADGF) is expanding its successful Idea line with the introduction of Idea Pro Black hybrids. The hybrids, according to the company, a non-glare black nickel-plate and are already in play on the PGA, Champions and Nationwide Tours. Idea Pro Black hybrids (suggested retail price $249.99) will be available beginning Oct. 1 in in lofts of 16, 18, 20, 23 and 26 degrees. Adams Golf says the club head features 25-grams of low and back weighting combined with a forward weight port that allows for exact swing weight and shaft adjustments. Built with an ultra-thin stainless steel crown and a Maraging steel face to deliver lower spin and a hotter ball flight, Adams Golf says the slight offset also offers superior control for players wanting to work their ball flight. “This next generation of our extremely successful line of Idea hybrids has already proven itself on Tour and become one of the favorites in the bag of PGA, Champions and Nationwide Tour pros alike,” said Tim Reed, Adams Golf Vice President of Research and Development. “In fact, the feedback we are getting from these players is that this hybrid can go deep into their bag. Like the Tour pros, low-handicap golfers everywhere will appreciate the Idea Pro Black hybrids because they not only look great but the weighting system will give them the control and workability they are missing in their long irons.”
