MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Project X shafts can now be found on Twitter at twitter.com/ProjectXGolf. Golfers and custom clubfitters can sign up to receive new Project X updates known as ‘tweets,’ which include the latest shaft news from pro tours around the world and information on the soon-to-be-released Project X woods and hybrids.

In addition, Project X is celebrating its Twitter debut with daily giveaways announced via tweet. Beginning June 1, 2009, Project X followers will have the chance to win Project X graphite shafts, sets of Project X irons, caps and other promotional items daily by being the first person to respond via email to a giveaway tweet. The email instructions will be announced on Twitter, but a Twitter account is not required to win.

“We’re extremely excited about the ability to communicate new shaft updates and information through the Twitter network,” says Lauren Carr, marketing communications coordinator for True Temper Sports. “Project X and Rifle brands continue to provide state-of-the-art performance on pro tours around the world, so it makes great sense to communicate those success stories through one of world’s most state-of-the-art online networks. We invite all golfers and clubmakers to follow us on Twitter for a chance to win Project X shafts and merchandise.”

Project X shafts are one of the most popular shafts played on the world tours today. The introduction of Project X wood and hybrid shafts will allow golfers to benefit from Project X technologies from driver through wedge.
