The winner at this week’s PGA TOUR Ginn sur Mer Classic had everyone seeing red — the all-new Proforce AXIVCore Tour Red shaft designed and manufactured by UST (United Sports Technologies).
For months, UST shafts featuring advanced AXIV Technology have generated a whirlwind of talk on the pro tours, however, the world-renowned shaft company has remained silent as to a specific product line that would make the sophisticated weave technology available to golfers. Today, UST has unveiled the next evolution in its highly acclaimed, high performance Proforce Series — the new Proforce AXIVCore Series.
While the AXIVCore Series also features Blue and Black models, the new Proforce AXIVCore Tour Red is for players who generate above average ball speed and who desire a penetrating launch angle, low ball spin, and a stable feel. Similar to the Tour Black model, the AXIVCore Red is a tour-proven design that combines the AXIV weave and a superior high-modulus carbon fiber in the mid and tip sections of the shaft. However, the Tour Red Series features a stiffer tip profile that delivers a strong, penetrating launch trajectory, low spin, and firmer feel. The Proforce AXIVCore Tour Black is available in 69-, 79-, 89-grams and in stiff and extra stiff flexes. MSRP: $165.
Unlike any graphite shaft in golf today, the innovative new Proforce AXIVCore Shaft Series integrates a true weave — four-axis material — within the inner walls of the butt section that provides stability and consistent shaft recovery. This unique counter-balanced shaft also reduces club heft that helps players generate more clubhead speed which translates to more ball velocity and greater distance. The Proforce AXIVCore Series will feature a Blue, Tour Black and Tour Red models, and will be available in multiple weights and flexes to fit various swing profiles.
High-performance UST graphite shafts are played by some of the world’s best players such as Davis Love III, Rod Pampling and many others.
