By Steve Pike Earlier this year Sun Mountain introduced the Micro Cart, a new-look walking cart sporting four-wheels while folding 25 percent smaller and weighing 20 percent less than leading push carts. To kick-off its 2010 catalog, Sun Mountain is launching the MCB (Micro Cart Bag) it says is designed specifically to fit the Micro Cart and offering a new 15-way top that will appeal to golfers using any cart. The 2010 MCB will be available later this month men’s and women’s styles with a suggested retail price of $209. The company says the MCB has a full complement of features – two of the most noteworthy being a bottom molded specifically to fit securely over the Micro Cart’s lower bag rest to minimize bag movement, and the newly designed 15-way top that offers golfers a new way to organize their clubs. Additional features on MCB include a top with integrated handles for easy loading/unloading, two velour-lined valuables pockets (one sized perfectly for a rangefinder), insulated cooler pouch, two full-length clothing pockets, ball pocket with two-way zippers, multiple accessory pockets (all front-facing for accessibility while on cart), quick-release strap, strap pouch in which to secure bag strap when carted, front-mounted umbrella holder, ball liner to precisely mark balls, dual pen holders, and a matching rainhood. Women’s MCB bags offer the same features as the men’s MCB but are one inch shorter to better fit women’s clubs and with a more feminine color palette.
