TWGT Introduces S2S Shaft Fitting

Tom Wishon Golf Technology, one of the industry's more cutting edge golf club design companies, is launching its new S2S Shaft Fitting program for clubmakers to use, it says "to help fit golfers with the best performing shaft.
 
The program can be accessed through www.wishongolf.com  and is completely free for clubmakers to use 24/7
 
According to TWGT President Tom Wishon, the program allows a clubfitter to iinput six different golfer analysis parameters:

Driver or 3 wood clubhead speed from 50 to 120mph
5- or 6-iron clubhead speed from 40 to 90mph
Downswing Transition evaluation of 1, 2 or 3 (passive, average, forceful)
Downswing Tempo evaluation of 1, 2, or 3 (smooth, average, fast)
Wrist Cock Release position of 1, 2, or 3 (early, midway, late)
Golfer Strength evaluation of 1, 2, or 3 (below average, average, above average)

For the 10,000 possible combinations of these six golfer inputs, Wishon said the the S2S Shaft Fitting program outputs nearly 8,000 different unique shaft fitting recommendations for the best graphite wood shaft, graphite iron shaft, steel iron shaft and hybrid shaft. In addition, Wishon said, if  an adjustment in the tip trim is required to better fit he recommended shaft for each combination of the six golfer inputs, the S2S Shaft Fitting program offers that information to clubmakers as well.
 
Wishon said each fitting recommendation in the program was created through careful analysis of the bend profile and weight design of each S2S shaft model and flex and comparison to each of the different combinations of golfer swing speed, transition, tempo, release and strength.
